The reason I said late 2011 as a release date is because Natal and Arc may force Nintendo to speed up their time-table.

Nintendo is already running on fumes with their 3rd party developers... the casual market is what is sustaining Nintendo right now.  I don't know how much of an impact Natal and Arc will have on Nintendo sales, but Nintendo definitely has to be concerned.

The Wii already feels dated, and it is being passed over for all the big multi-platform games.

I think one of the big determining factors will be how good Nintendo sales are through 2010, especially the holiday season.

If sales don't grow or remain flat, then expect to see the new Wii earlier than later.

ROFL, NATAL and Arc will not be a threat to Wii, you really don't understand if you think that MS and Sony have any idea on how to target the downmarket, also the third parties have never been the reason for the Wii success, nor do they have any idea how to reach the downmarket, which is why they whine so much about the Wii audience.

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!!
