Well Mass Effect 2 playthrough is on Youtube now. Definately has soft shadows and ' depth of field '. And the review was the 360 one. As they said if you play on PC everything is a bit better everywhere. Also found a great 360 HD video.

The effects, particle, fire explosions are stunning.

Really clean video. ( You said the other I posted was crap quality. ) I think it's the best Ive seen for consoles.

Change the quality from 320p to 720p with the contoller.

 EDIT: SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn the game looks great, as well as the fire. But it stops there. The graphics are Eh. C'mon, this game runs great on an 8800GT and during the space walk (0:26) you can see the seriously poor soft shadows. The textures look okay, and the poly models are low (1:29).

The game looks liek a great game, but the graphics hardly will take anyone's breath away who is used to modern graphics that are beyond ports.

We are gonna have to agree to disagree. It's not like I haven't played U2. I think the textures are fantastic in ME2, and the soft shadows are great ( not like PC, admitedly. But definately on if not better than other console games ). And stop saying it's a port. ME1 was built from the ground up on 360 and ported to PC ( hence the release schedule of the first game ). The 2nd game is just using Unreal Engine 3's latest upgrades. Which are as follows. Oh and Epic said UE3 is fully optimized for 360 hardware first. That was said at GDC. So ME2 aint no port. It's an engine designed for the 360 hardware.Ambient occlusion.Global World Class LightingFluid dynamicsLight with colour bleeding ( very impressive )Advanced texture mapping ( improved since Gears Of War 2, which was amazing textures. )Emissive Lighting source.
