Just finished Dragon Age:Origins, incredible game, the best RPG this Gen !?

There's a mod that restores most - not quite all - of tthe cut content from the game. Lost dialogue options, characters coming into play at different parts, whole scenes and scenarios restored. It's quite great.

was the mod put out by obsidian? Because if it wasn't than it has nothing to do with obsidians ability to create games.  In fact, it kind of sends the message that Obsidian needs somebody to come in and tidy up the mess of a game they made.  

No it wasn't made by Obsidian, but it was using assets that already existed within the game code. It's well-documented (Avellone has said this repeatedly) that they, Obsidian, did not have time to implement all of the content they had made for the game.
