And that is why its Leno's fault.
If Conan was down 2 million viewers, and the 10pm slot was down also, one can only assume that it started with them changing the 10pm slot. When you read the articles about it, the affiliates were mad that the news lead-in by Leno was hurting them...Not that Conan was getting hit.
It seems that they simply wanted to scapegoat Conan with the problems, when in actuality it was a domino effect of them replacing Southland with Leno. IMO, Leno would have done much better with a 6 or 7pm slot than his 10pm slot.
In the end, Conan will go to Fox, and tear Leno a new rear end, proving it was Lenos fault, not Conan.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
