I'm playing now, but I have to share playtime with my gf who is playing through the game herself. This game is going to be very, very difficult for Bioware to top. Even with a title like ME2. But then again I believe I prefer the fantasy setting for my WRPGs. What made the game for me is the depth and personality and your ability to communicate and interact with your party. And the great conversations that your party members will randomly carry. It adds a lot of depth to the experiance. Morrigan is by a mile my favorite character, but that probably has a lot to do with Claudia Black's sexy voice. Sten is the only character I disliked. And by dislike I mean he is one of the worst characters ever. Alistair was pretty annoying too, but funny.
I'm hoping that ME2 has the same depth in regards to your party members and how you intereact with them.
