It's very possibly, just pace yourself and check your clock often :) There are a lot of time sinks in the game and initially it might be boring to a lot of people unless you have friends playing with you. After that initial period, if yo stuck through then you can jump back in at any time (although a lot of people leave and never return), I return for major events (expansions and such).
