And now my ability to scroll using my laptop's touch-pad seems to be gone (though fortunately mouse functionality is still there). It was a fun one, too, trying to sell me some sort of phishing scam posing as a virus detector, it managed to thwart both my virus scanner, and more seriously, task manager, by claiming the applications were "infected" every time i tried to bring either of them they would crash. I eventually beat it by starting up task manager immediately upon rebooting, so that task manager was active before the virus managed to initialize itself, so it couldn't block it, and was able to find it when it did initialize and kill it (though even that took some doing. Windows claimed i needed administrator privelege to send it to the recycle bin, but fortunately the exe was contained in its own folder which i just removed entirely)
Not sure how this one slid in, either, though i had a strange initialization of some java app earlier on deviantart.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
