Used gaming should be taken into account in their business model. Those studios that fail because of piracy and used games are doing something wrong. If their games are worth the purchase their are plenty of 'honest' people who are willing to pay full price for their games (or at least wait until a price drop to buy new).

Unless you're buying a Nintendo game of course, in which case waiting for a price drop will leave you frustrated. There's rare exceptions, but I mean goddamnit Mario Galaxy is still $50 new. This is why I use services like Goozex and sites like craigslist. Some companies just don't want to (or don't have to) drop their prices over time, so I look for alternatives.

I'm not paying original retail price for ANY game older than a year unless it's particularly rare. Thank goodness for used games.

Speaking of rants. What pisses me off is that gamestop charges almost full price for used games. Gee $5 off? Praise Jesus.

Only until price drops do you have a real chance to save money.
