@gamings_best, You do realize the game has play types for just TDM gameplay, right? *facepalm*
Also, MW2 is no different from any other FPS. If you are good at it, you are good at them all. Especially if you play it right and use teamwork rather than just camp or go run'n'gun. What I am talking about in MW2 has nothing to do with consistency, though I do not understand your argument. Bullets hitting different parts of the body should cause different amounts of damage. This seems far more realistic than always taking the same amount of bullets no matter where you hit. The issue with MW2 is just from latency/lag. That's why I used the killcam example because it proves that in that split .5 second gun battle, you may have shot 5 bullets on your screen, but due to latency, the other person never saw you fire to begin with and he is the one that gets the kill then. MAG is dedicated servers, so that should help tremendously on this type of lag, and I was not trying to say it occurs as often as it does in MW2. From what I hear the lag is very very minor in MAG.

@Dgc, yes it was the open beta, and no I have not played it. I am speaking purely by ear from what I have heard.

@CGI, thanks for clarifying. I wonder if anyone has actually played in a 128v128 setup?

bull fucking shit

Um, no.  Pretty sure from my experienc with games like Halo, CoD (since the original), CS:S,  Rainbow Six, etc. have shown me this.  Once you are good at one FPS they are all pretty much the same and it is easy to be skilled at any of them.  Especially if you play it right and use teamwork rather than just camp or go run'n'gun.  The only games that were ever different were like the old Quake/UT games that were all about jumping around like a maniac and had very unrealistic speed/gravity/weapons/shields/health systems.
