Never in any generation has something along the lines of home, an optional feature, ever been a selling point. People aren't out there waiting for Home to buy the PS3. And if people are then really just turn the damn PC on and get Second Life for free.

I mean it could be a minor selling point but it's nothing huge in that scenario.

Yea, cause PC's are free arent they. Second life maybe free, like home, but the platform you play it on isnt.

People saying that home isnt going to do anything need to take a step back; the majority of PS3 owners or potential owners see the online service as average, and anyone who's played on Xbox Live knows theres a better feel to it.

Home itself will increase this feeling of mediocrity for the PSN and push it forward, theres so much to do with the thing. Achievements, mini-games, launching games from Home to play with your friends. I agree with most that it most have a massive "OMG Home!" effect when its released, but I think alot of people will look at home as another great feature to make them want to buy the PS3.
