It means a Wii 2, a new console. Look at these quotes from the article I linked before:

Wii-Plus sounds like the same wii-console except with some kind of major add-on boost in my opinion, if he would have said wii-2 he would have, also i dont think nintendo has ever kept the name of consoles, they changed it each gen.
Hmmm, to me, it stands as some sort add-on on the current wii-console. again though, thats jus' my thoughts on it.

Ignore the name and focus on the rest of what he said. His quotes imply that games would be especially developed for the Wii HD. Therefore it's not just a seamless upgrade, it's a new console.

I've got an open mind when it comes to gaming, and i dont think hes saying a new console, however if this is the case... of which i personally doubt, then many wii owners are going to be screwed over since its not an upgrade they could purchase instead all those current wii owners would have to buy a new console. i couldn't even see MS or Sony pulling off such an act of Greed.
