Generally high profile games receive around 10-15 review threads.

The chances of the discussion staying in the slowly dying official thread once reviews like GT and IGN hit are zero.

This way, it's all in one place.

yes I agree with this thread now, no-one sees official threads nowadays anyway thanks to them being hidden deep within game specific forums

BUT people are allowed to make new threads for IGN, Gamespot & Edge/Eurogamer reviews (as everyone does with every major game)

They will, but they shouldn't.

I meant what I said in the OP.  People (particularly Sony fans) decide that EVERY review is important just because they are interested in their exclusive game.

One thread is all that should be necessary for each game's reviews.

that will continue to happen like tradition like it or not.

anyways this is slightly off topic but:

Most of your posts nowadays have the words  "SONY fans" in them & after that something mildly insulting towards sony fans

its getting old & annoying, so stop it.

I rarely post as is, and I have few recollections of any of that.
