Sony closer to breakeven on PS3

Don't they generally base it on market prices without taking into consideration that Sony gets things cheaper because of bulk? I know they now say it's probably lower, but shouldn't that be significantly lower? It's been argued in the previous iSupply thread, but can't seem to remember.
