I will be amazed if we see anything remotely sophistictaed in 3d gaming this gen. The massive majority do not have a TV capable of showing them and aren't in a rush to replace the one they just bought for HD.

i think avatar 's success has to do with gaming if avatar will be the first movie ever since the creation of cinema to hit 2 billions this will affect gaming and home entairtainment  in general you can say that 3d has some years of mediocre success but thie right shift will take place the decade 2010-2020 that 's why MS and Sony support it because is the right moment
