It's funny, since GT4 (EU/NA release of 2005), I count 3 games released by PD themselves: Tourist Trophy, GT5P and GT PSP xD 

If GT5 releases this year, that gives you an average of 1 game per 1,25 years, much higher than said competitors xD

It's not very fair towards other developers to count GT5P in that comparison. They could launch several of these prologue titles without much additional effort (just publish a few development milestones), and other developers can argue their demos count as launched games as well.

I know GT5P has more content than most demos, but it's still basically an incomplete version of a game being developed, making it essentially zero effort to launch (same as demos).
