In Italy XB360 Arcade was cut down to 159-179€ (depending on the store) during the whole Xmas season. BTW some stores cut Wii too to 179€ the week before the week of Xmas. It worked fine for Wii. It worked enough to keep afloat XB360 with more than decent numbers, but not enough to beat either Wii or PS3, despite Arcade being the cheapest. If cuts up to 40€ off weren't enough to get it the 1st or even just the 2nd place weekly, what else can MS do on the pricing front?
