I personally like this qoute:

"Companies need to stop forcing industry standards and allow the market to set standards for itself."

So is it safe for me to say that we can blame Nintendo for forcing motion controls on the industry when its obvious that the industry couldnt handle it? The industry nor the market was asking for motion controls during the last gen.

No, it is not safe to say that.  Just look at the sales of the Wii.  It is obvious that a large portion of the market wants motion controls.

But did the market want it before this generation started?

Apparently yes.

Really???  I dont remember asking for it, nor do I remember any of my friends thinking how much better gaming would be if it was controlled by hand movement while holding a controller.   Maybe it was the bad taste left in our mouth by the Power Glove

Well maybe in your world, the market didn't want it and the Wii is in last place, and Nintendo is struggling financially.

Here in the real world, Nintendo figured out what the market wanted, gave it to them, and is raking in the profits.

Where did I say any of that????   No need to get childish, It was just a point I was expressing.  I knew it wouldnt be popular with the Nintendo diehards around here.

Sorry, I wasn't expecting this much discussion out of something so obvious.

Whats the obvious part, because obviously I missed it?
