Yeah, I understand that some people view a foetus as a human being, and I can see where they're coming from. I just don't think that the state has any right to prosecute a person who hasn't attacked one of their citizens.

It's like the Amanda Knox case - she was an American who killed a Brit, murder is against the law in the USA, but the US state didn't try her, Britain did, as the victim was a British citizen.

That's my view, anyway.
