"Why is it that almost everytime a Wii game fails which might have a shot another Wii fan says "it deserved to fail"? Good lord, be happy you're still getting something from Square Enix."
Can't speak for others, but I usually reserve that for games that wouldn't do well on the HD systems. Plus not that many actually fail (since the costs were ad SD level), just fall short.
These games will likely make money, just not as much as they could have.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
