The game is amazing!!! If you're a fan, you will not be dissapointed. The battle theme grows on you really fast. It's the case with most FF games I find.
And no, I can't understand a word of Japanese. I can generally make sense of what's happening, but I'm never 100% sure. But I couldn't hold myself off anymore. I mean, if I wasn't playing the Japanese version right now, I'd probably just watch live feeds of the whole game.
