Cause its getting the features NA wanted in previous GTs.
Its been explained plenty times, by me.
Prior to GT4 release PD cut GT4 online mode, pissed of NA players quite a lot since it was a feature promised to them. It tanked GT4 sales in NA. Lack of damage which was long rumored also hurt, many overlooked it for GT3 but GT4 was to have all the feature it missed.
Online and damage are mostly NA wants, PD said them sels European and Asian player want more care more tracks and more realism.
NAs have been whining for online and damage and they are getting it.
Its not rocket science, its giving people what they always wanted.
Depending on what happens on Top Gear during GT5s release, it can go on to sale your 8 million in Europe alone.
