I don't think they have to wrry about Call of Duty to be honest...Unless they copy COD's style of cinematic SP campaign in which case they will hurt the franchise.

Everyone used to call new FPS games "halo killer" few years back and every game was copying halo blindly hence halo was a target for a lot of resentment. Now that the industry has moved towards copying COD, Halo franchise smells like roses and looks pretty darn original amongst your MAGs, Operation Flahspoints and Medal of Honors

Don't be a fool. There are a lot of things that bungie can learn from Infinity Ward, and bungie has said this themselves. Which is also evident in ODST, which to me had the better campeign. I'm hoping they learn even more from Infinity Ward and that they can take what is amazing in that series and add it to their own, and who knows, maybe even improve apon it.

First of all don't call me a fool.

Seconly, COD style of single player and Halo do not work very well. There are little things that each borrow from one another but overall gameplay does not mix. COD is event triggered and twitch gameplay based, Halo is weapon and terrain strategy based. Coop in Halo WOULD NOT WORK with event triggered cinematic gameplay like cod. This is why you don't have coop in COD series. COOP + actual gunplay strategy of Halo > anything I've seen in any COD game, and Ive played them all. Lets not forget vehicles too...

Lastly, ODST is nothing like COD, I don't know what game you played or what the box said but it wasn't ODST if it played like COD.
