If I remember reading this correctly, someone has stated that the american box art of Tales of Vesperia has the tag of "Only on Xbox 360" on it. And thus, some have doubted that ToV PS3's localization to the US won't come.

But wasn't it the same with Enchanted Arms? If I remember correctly, the box art on Enchanted Arms said "Only on Xbox 360" but then ported onto the PS3 was it not? Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. ^ ^

Yep, there are some publishers out there who have no shame in flat out false advertising. Capcom did it with Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Tecmo did it with Ninja Gaiden II, Square-Enix has (It's not on the SO4 box but I have an ad for SO4 near the back of my Infnite Undiscovery booklet that has the "Only on Xbox 360" logo in the SO4 ad), Ubisoft did it with Enchanted Arms, 2K Games did it with Bioshock. I think that might be it in the long list of lying ass publishers (with regard to exclusivity. Obviously loads more publishers are dishonest about other things) but I may be wrong.

Note that Eternal Sonata never had "Only on Xbox 360" on the box and TOV's JP box never had the logo so Bamco has kinda covered their own ass there.

List of Bamco and Namco 360 games in NTSC-U with "only on xbox 360"

Ace Combat 6 - remained exclusive

Tales of Vesperia - still 360 exclusive to the NTSC-U region for a year and 5 months. And knowing Namco's history (ie. ToS PS2 never leaving JP), it may very well stay exclusive.

Culdcept Saga - remained exclusive

Beautiful Katamari - remained exclusive (to make up for this, they placated the PS3 fans by creating a PS3-exclusive Katamari game Katamari Forever or whatever it's called)

Ridge Racer 6 doesn't have the logo btw and that has remained exclusive. Ridge Racer 7, however, is PS3-exclusive (repeat of the Katamari situation. 360 gets one game, PS3 gets one). There may be other Namco/Bamco 360 exclusives that aren't labelled with "only on xbox 360" but I'm too lazy to check.

The way I see it, Namco thus far haven't straight out lied about exclusivity to the fans at least (treated their fans like crap yes but that's a story for another day). Which is more than I can say about Capcom, Tecmo, Square-Enix (for running that SO4 ad in the Infinite Undiscovery booklet with "only on xbox 360"), Ubisoft and 2K Games. Ports are a reality of the gaming industry but these companies should be fined for false advertising. If you can't guarantee exclusivity, don't put those damn exclusivity logos on the box. Nintendo started this "only for Nintendo" trend with the SNES and N64. This damn crap needs to stop. The "only on Xbox 360" and "only on Playstation" label thing only appeals to fanboy e-peen sensibilities.
