You forgot 3D gaming...

3D gaming will be nice.. although I'm not sure my TV will be equipped to use it.  We'll see. :)

Apparently the 3D TV market penetration is about 4 million in North America alone... and I am one of them. So hopefully sony can delvier the 3D tech close to what I already have on my PC. PC will always be better but if its within 75% of the detail and quality, it will be great...

What specs will we need?  I saw specs that somebody posted here but I'm naturally sceptical of most things that people post here.  Are there any officials specs anywhere?  My TV is 1080p, but only 60Hz.

Yeah, that wont work sadly.

Unless you have a one of the late Mitsubishi or Samsung DLP TVs or one of a few Samsung Plasma models form 2008/2009...your TV wont do 3D. Even if it says 120 hz, it wont.

Even if someone paid 4000 for a 240 hz TV 2 months ago...it won't work...lol.

There are people on the 3D Nvidia forums who read that you need 120 hz and have bought a TV that says 120 hz and are like..."why doesn't this work...I bought a TV just for this purpose". Needles to say, they are pretty pissed when people tell them that all these TVs are not true 120 hz and don't support 3D.
