So I may as well talk a little about myself. I'm a toymaker and part time delivery person.
Although this month is particularly busy for me due to the holidays, it's my favorite. While I mainly build toys, once a year I take up the good cause and give toys to the little ones. It makes me happy to see their little faces all aglow with happiness. Nice warm feeling.
Now sadly, I cannot provide enough toys for everyone so I actually wound up making list to help with that (priority list if you will). It used to be more... useful, but now there's so many children that it still takes a long time. I still check it a couple times though to make sure I'm on track. Luckily I have plenty of help from a bunch of long-time friends and we manage to do what seems impossible at times.
To give it some serious thought, even now as we ramp up production I can only wonder if we can manage to do it again this year. Seems to get harder every year, but I have faith in everyone. We work hard and go out there to do what we do best because we love what we do and we care a great deal about the children most of all. We can't bring joy to everyone, but we can do our part to make Christmas magical for as many as we can.
Anyway, I need to go tend to the animals now. They're getting restless as they always do this time of year. Lots to do and never enough time to do it in.
