I used to read FMA, but I kind of have a problem with it. I absolutely LOVED the anime, and usually, when the anime and manga are different even just a little (or in this case, completely different storylines), I usually prefer the manga. This isn't the case for FMA so I had trouble keeping up with it. I plan to tackle it again once I can get over the predisposition where I'm convinced it can't be as good as the anime. It seems very good though, but for some reason, it just nags at me.

So then why not just watch FMA Brotherhood? It follows the storyline of the manga.

I don't watch anime anymore, no time. And that doesn't really solve the issue at hand at all -.-

@kopstudent89, I assume you read Adachi Mitsuru stuff then? Cross Game, Rough, Touch, H2, etc. When it comes to sports manga, he's my favorite. Eyeshield 21 was pretty fun too.

Hajime no Ippo is pretty good, I've read it 2 times so far. The first time when about 500 chapters were out, and followed it for about 75 chapters, and recently at about 730 and I've been keeping up with it. I want the story to progress a little faster, but it's a fun read. Doesn't make my top 10 though, even if I keep up with it very well.

On another note, I've read One Piece 5 or 6 times (watched most of the anime, but I'm about 100 eps behind now), Hunter X Hunter 4 times (and watched the anime 3 times), Id about 7-8 times, Ubel Blatt 3-4 times, and 1/2 Prince twice. I love re-reading the manga I really enjoy. It beats reading like 5 other mediocre series that aren't entertaining.

It helps to have a LOT of free time at work to just read manga. I can easily get through about 100 chapters a day. Considering I only keep up (on a regular basis) with maybe 20-30 different series, that's another 470ish chapters I can get through of various stuff. Some chapters take longer obviously, but I'm talking about the normal 20-25 page chapters.
