@JNEUL - you are not making sense - yes beta max failed to catch on with the public but it was superior to vhs in every way
The same cannot be said bout bluray. HDDVD did the exact same thing for half the price.
Sony paid warner and fox over 500 million dollars and that is why bluray won.
Sony has lost 5-6 billion on the ps3.
The ps3 has wasted more money than any console in the history of gaming
