EA games owns the Porsche license (expires later this year), Microsoft had to ask EA games to license Porsche to appear in Forza 3, no idea why EA let Turn10 have them for Forza but not for Gran Turismo 5, must be a lot more to it.
And remember, Porsche haven't been in the last two Gran Turismo games either, maybe EA games just don't want them to appear in Gran Turismo games or maybe they are charging a lot of money to sub license them out or maybe Sony are waiting for EA's license to expire later in the year to buy it themselves? all possible....
