Most premium LCD displays these days are 240hz.
But I think it was only back in 2007 (might have even been 2008 if I remember right) that 120hz was the new "premium" feature that retailers were touting as a reason to upgrade and 240hz LCD HDTV displays weren't even commercially available. So for LCDs, 200+hz is a relatively new standard that still commands a premium price.
Personally, if one was genuinely interested in 3D TV, I'd say just wait until the media actually becomes available. No point in having 3D capable anything if there's next to nothing to watch on it. And certainly not at the initial prices.
