Overall, very much. The DD networks has allowed 2d gaming to flourish once again, Wii has brought gaming to the masses, DS is the best handheld ever and the HD consoles and PC keep giving us those blockbuster games. Not everything is perfect, especially the DLC hell, but overall it's very good.
