... All the while these games' sales destroy the Sony games you listed. Do you think these games somehow don't count because they have Nintendo characters in them? Hell I'd say this is a great example of how bias people are against Nintendo. Apparently none of the games they make counts.

Third parties are not making the games on the PS3 because they're following Sony's lead. Hell, I'd say Sony is pretty damn lucky they had the X360 to rely on to justify ports in its early life. Without it who knows how it would have performed.

Well, anyway... I'm annoyed at third parties treating us like garbage, and it's pretty annoying seeing Wii detractors here act as if the third parties are innocent. I will say, though, I'm not necessarily pissed off that we're not getting any games. I have a backlog of games as it is because I entered this gen late (WoW > time), and I'll probably only get to play half of the 2010 releases I want to at this point.

Still, I noticed people arguing here have gotten way too caught up in technology. I think this is the problem of the industry, everyone assumes games need to be pushing hardware, when that actually doesn't matter at all. The only thing that matters is the overall fun / entertainment the game brings. This doesn't mean the game can look like crap, though - look at Nintendo games for an example. The Wii series has its own charm to it, with the Mii's and all (which people love). They didn't create this style out of laziness. In fact, I (and likely the majority) prefer it to X360 Avatars or PS3's Home characters. Realistic =/= better.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of 2D games. Castle Crashers is nearly my favorite HD this game (no joke). Now, after seeing the phenomenal sales of NSMB Wii and other platformers, you'd expect we'd get something like a full fledged 2D Sonic on the Wii, right? Why doesn't Sega make it? Do the developers simply don't want to? Or, do they lack the talent? Can developers no longer get by without the crutches of graphics? You can't deny a game like this would sell like hotcakes on the Wii, and this even follows the "copy what Nintendo does" plan.

There are some getting it right, I'd say. For example, NBA Jam is a good fit for Wii owners, and something I'm happy to see (looks like a game they may put effort in). We need more of that kinda stuff! I'm sure some Wii owners are asking for more, but realistically I know that's impossible (from most western developers, anyway - they're useless). At least I've got Epic Mickey to look forward to!
