you are asking the orange tree for apples. the thing is, even if the orange tree were to bear apples for you, they will be something not quite the apples from the apple tree. Right now there's a huge crowd enjoying their oranges, if they were ever to become interested in apples, really REALLY interested in apples, do you think they will settle for the lesser-apples the orange tree would produce for them? No, of course not, they would take a stroll to the apple tree and eat real apples.
