"I agree, a lot of people probably owned a 360 with a PS3 and there was obviously no need to rebuy it."

I don't agree, but regardless, you'd better never use the combined HD userbase argument or I will throw this in your face.

Haha what are you talking about? Bioshock was ported in october of 2008, there has been over 14 months of new PS3 owners that may or may not have had a 360.

what would get thrown in my face and do i have some history of claiming something about HD console userbase or something that im not aware of?

1. That's time. The userbase overlap could not possibly account for the lower sales, as even if it was the majority, that's still less people than even the 360 version.

2. That's just in case you decide to later.

"So youre argueing for the principle that these companies release products they dont owe you for a system that dont deem as viable to their business plan like its a charity?"

No, it is viable. I just demand they (and even you) realize that and support the Wii accordingly. Monster Hunter 3 proves those games can work on the Wii, becaujse the game is one of the most graphically intense of the system, which, if all the casual game audience talk was true, should be a flop.

The actual demand for charity is from those demanding developers, third party, Sony, Microsoft, and even Nintendo, make nothing by big, expensive games just to please those people, even though the sales haven't grown enough (Assassins Creed is not the rule for HD game sales). I demand sensibility here.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
