"Right, you could pull off Assassins creed without a living breathing city and massive landscapes and combat."

San Andreas had all those things. While that's too much for the PS1, it's not too much for the Wii, so all that gets sacrificed is an expensive coat of paint.

Have you played AC2 ?

You can climb every single building and move from top to top..

You can not interact with any San Andreas building, they are just blocks with shiny texture on top...

1. That was not among the things you listed.

2. Again, that was on the PS2, which the Wii would have room to add such abilities, even if it would have been too much on the PS2.

But thats what youre missing! The things that make the games what they ARE at their core simply cant be done on the wii. Look at the PSP version of assassins creed. Regardless of sales the sacrifice in what made the franchise what it was, the environment, the scope, scale, size, button mapping totally ruin it.

Seriously, if the best argument you have is, the games on the PS2 can be done on the wii, then why not play a PS2? Why do you insist that devs spend time an dmoney making games that have ALREADY BEEN DONE 7 years ago? That would be acceptable to you?

Didnt you heard the WII exist in a Vacuum and deserves respect for selling more than all the other consoles and this respect should be represented with 3rd party games that are currently made for PC/360/PS3. However the few WII forums fighters want developers to unlearn all the latest techniques and abilities they have gathered and make games accomodating 10 year old technology (ps2) and Motion Controlers.

Go nintendo forums fighters your pathetic bitter tears wont stop.
