I've been playing with a controller as well for over 20 years now and I still enjoy it. I'm not living in the past, I am just sticking with what I enjoy, plain and simple. I play mainly RPG titles and I see zero advantage of playing with a Wiimote/Wand as opposed to a standard controller. Of course our tastes differ, which is perfectly normal. Maybe if these Wii owners bought Metroid Prime more than they did when it was released years ago third parties would have made them since they would have seen a big audience for it, but unfortunately they didn't. Instead they saw that more people clearly prefer to play FPS on a console with a standard controller. Not trying to tell you jump ship, but we all know the PS3 will continue to get FPS games, not just from 3rd parties, but from Sony themselves. These future titles will not doubt feature support for their wand, so if you want them that bad you will know where to find them. |
I still enjoy my games with controller I never said we should stop playing with an ordinary controller, sometimes you just dont feel like playing with a wiimote and play with the regular instead, but i dont let the fact that I enjoy it get in the way of evolving as a gamer and thats what the Wii has done it has evolved gaming and its frustrating that theese corporations are just refusing to evolve with it and that I would have to wait another gen for them to get it because they will get it eventually as you can see with the Natal and Sony Wand coming out and all the support alot of theese companies are throwing their way (atleast Natals way).
I dont need to jump ship I allready have hd console (i actually have 2 360´s) and I will get a ps3 when their is enough games to warrant a buy (its almost there).

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
