For those confused why they were happy with sales last week...
Those quotes were from Rising Star Games, who published it in Europe - where it sold better. I'm still not convinced that the developers themselves could take too much joy out of European sales, but I digress.
Rising Star Games pretty much took a nishe Wii game no one else wanted, and sold a reasonable amount of copies. Given the circumstances I doubt they were ever going to be disappointed in sales, as, as a publisher they invested little into bringing it to Europe.
