just enjoy what you have or switch if you don't like it......

And the fallacy continues. Wii fans enjoy what they have (due to Nintendo's efforts of course), they just want more.

Switching wouldn't necessarily make them happier, for the reason I stated in my previous post.

Have the 3rd party developers that you criticize so much demonstrated that they can develop successfully any other kind of game ?

Even if they didn't, they could still make similar games tuned more for Wii controls. For example RE5 which would work great on the Wii.

I think I found your problem right there.

You're expecting these companies to do something they clearly don't know how to.

It would be like asking for Sakaguchi to make an FPS. He knows they make money if you put a little effort in it, so why not? Because he's clueless about what it works and what doesn't. He doesn't understand the genre. So he'd rather stick to what he knows...

Mmmm, no... I'm not expecting that at all. First, they could do much the same they're doing, with some slight adaptations for the Wii (that can work, not every success on the Wii was a radically new game). Then they could build on that.

That's the issue most have been struggling with.

You just can't make Re5 for the Wii from the HD console version, most of the game has to be redone, and then you get into the issue that your Re5 Wii is going head to head with Re5 HD and a significant percentage of the dual console owners will pick the HD version...

Despite what some claim here there has not been a demonstration this gen that users will pick a tuned down version of a game with Wii control over a more graphically attractive one with traditional controls...

Typically what has happened so far is when a game was released on all 3 consoles it was either not graphic/cpu intensive ( rythm games) or the HD version were far from taking full advantage of the console they were on ( SW Force Unleashed for example)....

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
