just enjoy what you have or switch if you don't like it......

And the fallacy continues. Wii fans enjoy what they have (due to Nintendo's efforts of course), they just want more.

Switching wouldn't necessarily make them happier, for the reason I stated in my previous post.

Have the 3rd party developers that you criticize so much demonstrated that they can develop successfully any other kind of game ?

Even if they didn't, they could still make similar games tuned more for Wii controls. For example RE5 which would work great on the Wii.

I think I found your problem right there.

You're expecting these companies to do something they clearly don't know how to.

It would be like asking for Sakaguchi to make an FPS. He knows they make money if you put a little effort in it, so why not? Because he's clueless about what it works and what doesn't. He doesn't understand the genre. So he'd rather stick to what he knows...

Basically they are all asking for innovation and lets face it it comes little at a time in this industry.

heck even Nintendo only did it a couple time this gen with Wii Sports and Wii Fit.

Lets look at the 2 mosty successfull Mario games : MKWii and NSMBWii, do they really innovate that much and go away from the previous iterations in those franchises ? Not really. Even the king Nintendo, most of the time, is sticking to what it knows best......

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
