And the fallacy continues. Wii fans enjoy what they have (due to Nintendo's efforts of course), they just want more.

Switching wouldn't necessarily make them happier, for the reason I stated in my previous post.

Even if they didn't, they could still make similar games tuned more for Wii controls. For example RE5 which would work great on the Wii.

I think I found your problem right there.

You're expecting these companies to do something they clearly don't know how to.

It would be like asking for Sakaguchi to make an FPS. He knows they make money if you put a little effort in it, so why not? Because he's clueless about what it works and what doesn't. He doesn't understand the genre. So he'd rather stick to what he knows...

 

 

Mmmm, no... I'm not expecting that at all. First, they could do much the same they're doing, with some slight adaptations for the Wii (that can work, not every success on the Wii was a radically new game). Then they could build on that.
