How bitter would PS3 and 360 owners be if third parties spent years launching "test games" to see if they were worthy of getting more high-profile, high-quality games?

How bitter would they be if those same third parties ignored the fact that several high-quality PS3 and 360 games sold well, and decided to launch their following games on the Wii, completely forgetting their previous successes on the PS3 and 360?

How bitter would they be if 3rd parties and the industry in general used niche games and spin-offs as "proof" that PS3 and 360 owners don't deserve getting better games?

If the games we wanted were not on our platform of choice we would have purchased another console long ago...........

I don't go to Subway to purchase a cheeseburger, I go to Wendy's or Mc Donalds :P

So your point is, PS3/360 fans are shining beacons of rationality and pragmatism while Wii fans are irrational and unbalanced whiny fanboys?

My point is that it's been quite clear for a while that Wii wasn't going to get the same kind of games as HD consoles.

If those are the games you want, buy the platform that has them...

Ever hear any console owner complains they are not getting MMOs ?

Nope, people that want to play those play on the PC....

If I want to play Mass Effect or Halo as a PS3 owner, I'm not going to start a petition online or bitch like mad about pulbishers, I will purchase a 360....

Wii fans aren't saying games like Mass Effect or Halo should be on Wii.  Only a select few people are saying that and frankly, they aren't looking at the big picture.  Since the Wiis conception, most people have looked at the Wii for what it was and realized the Wii had true potential to do one of two things.  Either be limited to games with Wiimote controls (like WiiSports/Zelda: Twilight Pricess) or be a system where developers could basically do anything they want if they put forth the effort.  And as we have seen, when developers actually put forth the effort, they can create games that practically do whatever they want on the Wii.  Its not about graphics or being HD, its about effort from these third party developers.

Nintendo themselves have shown us this, certain third parties have shown us this.  Its just that the majority of third party companies have chosen to only give the Wii casual/party/mini-game titles or smaller titles with limited budgets (The Conduit, Blom Blox, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, etc) and then whine that they don't sell as well as a game on the HD consoles/Nintendo internal titles.
