If Super Mario Galaxy looks more blurry and washed out on your HDTV than on your old TV, it means either

1) You forgot to buy component cables and set your Wii on 480p and 16:9 widescreen
2) You bought a terrible TV.

Another point, thanks for pointing it out. Why doesnt Nintendo also include those cables?

Actually two things. One I have one which I put in the family room and its about 40 some inches. Its HD and even without them it looks good and there isnt much blurriness and stuff. But the 53 inch one is the one that made it look ugly. Its 1080p one. So those component cables really work? Makes much of a difference, if so where could i get them??

Sony doesn't include HD cables as well~ And they have an HD console! Go figure!

You can find them online for maybe 10 bucks. Makes the colors brighter and crisper. Mario Galaxy looks amazing on my 52" HDTV.
