New Super Mario Bros Wii is not a bad game. In fact, it's better than a lot of good games released of the HD twins in 2009. Everyone was expecting the next "Big Thing" from Nintendo because third party is such a lame. But Nintendo can't do everything. They need time to create a great AAA game (like Zelda Wii, which Aonuma is working on since 2007) like any other developer. Nintendo have few studios that create different type of games. When they are rushed because nobody aside of them are able to produce quality titles, they mess a little with their title. With NSMBW, it wasn't that catastrophic, but...

You should blame Ubisoft, Capcom, Square-Enix, Namco for ignoring you. They are missing the goldmine that is the Wii. They prefer to sell a game around 3 million units instead of developing for the Wii which has 2 times a more big userbase. Screw them.
