Despite all the excuses thrown around I'm not bitter about it, just a little perplexed. The Wii's got a great software line-up this year so I'm not too worried. |
Minor third party support on Nintendo consoles has been a given since the N64, Nintendo consoles have mainly been about first party games with some third party support since then but that's not what people are bitter about tbh it's the notion that third parties complain like they've done Wii owners many favours when really they're throwing scraps their way. The best third party games have been niche games which won't set the world alight although they've sold well on the Wii, these games how ever would get massively overlooked on the HD twins despite their critical achievement. It's hard for Wii owners to take them serious when you see things like MW1 being ported two years late and released along side its sequel while activision gives Wii owners an ultimatum of buy it or no more core games or Ubisoft making loads of imagine games or even Sega complain about needing help in selling mature titles when the are hardly any ads shown for their games.
