Yes you can because the article is illogical. A person comparing a game the he/she likes that did not sell as well as a popular game and becoming upset about it. What's logical about that? There will always be games that do not sell as well as some popular games. Dragon Quest does not sell as well as Pokemon, Diddy kong Racing did not sell as well as Mario Kart 64, Crash Bandicoot did not sell as well as Super Mario 64 and almost no one puchased Beyond Good and Evil. This happens but do we need melt downs by game journalist about all these games that did not appeal to the masses like some other games? Instead IGN could actually do something for gamers and games instead of pointless cry baby tactics. How about highlighting overlooked gems on each system. This could get more gamers interested in these gems and actually help promote games with unique gameplay. Then maybe publishers and developers will not be so conservative. Atleast that would be more fruitful than hoping their banter will some how cause Nintendo to fail with the Wii and it's first party software.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
