in entertainment terms;
the first two HP films are terrible, the third was mediocre, fourth OK, haven't seen the fifth.
In all truth now i have read more books, i see the only HP books worthy of the praise they get are the third, sixth and maybe seventh.... the others were meh to good.
I imagine the games are terrible.
In education terms I would argue that in terms of development the film does a lot less for a child than either the game or book, particularly if you have already read the book because there is little new in the storyline to get you thinking.
I find it strange that I still read as many, if not more books now than i used to, whilst still playing more video games than i used to.... In fact, whenever i have free time on my own it is usually spent with a book or a game, if neither then it might be on the internet....I watch considerably less television than i used to.
