As much as i like seeing big numbers being thrown around for Wii and how it`s selling better than PS2 so far, i don`t know if Wii will even reach 40m in 2008.
PS2 sold that well because it had great exclusives that could sell the console.
Does Wii have that? I can only see SSBB, Mario Kart and Wii Fit, but, in my opinion, those will be released in the first semester of 2008. What then? What will sell Wiis during the Christmas of 2008?

Actually, my biggest concern has always been because of 2008. Nintendo will eventually meet demand next year. What games will be there to sell the system even more?

If you or anyone think they know which games are gonna sell the most and become system sellars for the Wii as of yet then sorry but you're mistaken. If anyone had said to you so early in the DS's lifetime that they'll be a game about a dog that you train etc (talking about Nintendogs for who didn't pick up the clues) and thats it and it'll put every big hitter to shame in terms of having legs and selling systems - would you have believed them?

We're in a very early stage with a system that forces every developer to add creativity above everything else into their attempts - on a system if nothing else that will punish poor attempts in terms of sales.  I see this as a very good thing and think by this time next year we'll be seeing some completley different games for Wii when people have nailed the controls, know what sells and are launching their 3rd Wii title.

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony
