Pokemon is a culture unto itself, it will continue to be strong even through future generations ;)

It's a worthy merit though, at least I think it is. 

Pokemon is awesome, ill play Pokemon red/blue/yellow and gold/silver over any of these "HD" games.

I remember coming home from school just to play pokemon.

 

I might just pick up another DS to buy Gold/Silver.
