It was probably thrown out for a reason. If a tv that you found on the street doesn't work it probably means it was thrown out. Considering you found it outside just consider yourself lucky the thing isn't filled with cockroaches. Kid, maybe you should ask for a tv for your birthday. Because I doubt you will find working mint condition electronics in the garbage.
