Just for the sports titles it would justify the purchase!!! NFL and NBA exclusive of one console would secure the north american market. Also The Sims would be a big hit in an exclusive form on a Nintendo console. Maybe Crysis could be a new exclusive IP?
I'm pretty shure Nintendo has the money for this, now EA only needs to do some little more HD mistakes and some more Wii casual and "stylized design" failures and voilá...

THATS THE PLAn all along. Im predicting this since 2007 and my predictions are becoming more and more true. And its not only EA, other western and japanese publishers too. What would Nintendo was to wait like a tiger waiting for a man to come down thats stuck on a top of a tree

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out
