Simplification:

If the following statement is true then I may have solved something here...

Condition.

If games require being played and playing a game in turn is based on a manner of fun.

And

If the purchasing of games is understood as a person purchasing a promise of playing something that is such a form that playing is a manner of fun.

Then perhaps people buy games to play them under the idea that will be entertained based on the value or the catalyst used for the purchase.

Furthermore

A person could then base game software sales to be on this promise of fun.

However!

The observer can now be certain based on the sources of that promise (given the amount of time of referenced) which game has been more successful at entertaining over others.

=D

What I'm saying is the game sold gang busters in the first month, give it time to see what happens and not jump on Nintendo for selling millions in a claim that they half-assed it.

If their is a consumer backlash from this Mario game, it will be very visible in a few forms. Let the consumers speak not a IGN mouth feeder who probably has a few agenda's behind his words.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
